I used QuickTime to record an audio describing a learning activity that can be used in the classroom. QuickTime is an application that can be used to develop movies, audio files or screencasts. I used it because it is on my Mac. I did the audio version only, because I’m still a little hesitant to do self videos, but as I get more comfortable using these tools, I’m sure I will try it and probably love it.
For this classroom project, students will listen to the audio I’ve made and then they will pair up to interview each other. They will record their interviews so they can play them back to critique their skills. The activity is on the Power of Active Listening. It is an interactive activity that allows students to build their communication skills by practicing the art of active listening. It stresses the importance of listening to others and teaches both students and teachers some tools they can use. This is the link: https://youtu.be/-54u7-myCQI I hope you enjoy it!
