Our project this week was to research the evolution of the Internet and develop a product that describes it. I used eMaze, which is free cloud-based software that can be used to create presentations, websites, blogs, photo albums and e-cards. It allows you to insert images, text, videos, audio, media and widgets from the web. I created a presentation that describes the Internet’s evolution since its beginning in 1989. I tried to keep my presentation engaging and informative. I hope you like it and here is the link: https://www.emaze.com/@AOZCCIOFL/evolution-of-internet.
The biggest challenge I came across in using eMaze was the learning curve in figuring out how to navigate it and use it. I downloaded lots of images which also took some time. I used the tool that allows you to insert power point slides which worked well. Although I didn’t insert any video or audio in my presentation, I think this is a cool feature. A site that reviewed eMaze commented that the software was quick and easy in constructing a great presentation in a very short time, like during your lunch hour. I did not find this to be the case. I spent, what seemed like many lunch hours, putting my presentation together. Hopefully, the next time around, it won’t take as long.
In the classroom, teachers can use eMaze to create visually exciting and engaging presentations for teaching various topics. Students can also create their own interactive presentations, blogs, or websites that will help develop their creativity while making learning stimulating and fun. Having the students present their final product to the class can also increase their communication skills.

I enjoyed looking at your presentation. I used a different website to make my video so it was interesting to see another presentation service. I too had a hard time figuring out how to use the website I used. I think that these resources are wonderful to us in the classroom.

Mary, as Catherine stated, your presentation was very enjoyable. While navigating through it I realized we had similar content for the Web 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 definitions. I used Prezi as it was hard to me to figure out how to use other websites to create my presentation. Good job for sticking to this one, and not giving up like I did lol.
